Youth

Young people learn good habits when shown good habits.Missouri Credit Union offers money handling experiences based on children's ages. Specific programs are designed to provide financial learning opportunities for children and teenagers. Kirby Kangaroo Club is for children ages up to 12-years old. The New Attitudes program is for ages 13- to 18-years old.

Kirby Kangaroo Club offers your child the opportunity to save and manage their own money. He or she can make deposits as often as they have funds to add. If they meet their quarterly goals they can claim a reward from MCU staff. Your child can manage their money and spend some of it with an ATM card for purchases they have been saving for. New Attitudes Program offers teenagers the ability to be manage their savings and checking account. They can have access to direct deposits, online banking, auto loans and small personal loans. Teenagers are encouraged to become good stewards of their money whether it be from gifts, allowances, part-time or full-time jobs. View the New Attitudes program for more information.
